Here are some things I picked up testing her in arena:

– ML Lidica is a hero of convenience. She provides many benefits for your team, but there are comparable specialist that provides the same.

– She’s a jack-of-all-trades excelling at none. Mind you, this does not make her weak at all due to her wide coverage as an opener.

– She’s able to completely cripple a single enemy on offense (if immunity is removed)

– A target speed of 245+ and 85% effectiveness should be enough for her to perform her role.

Comparison vs “Specialists”:

– ML Lidica is equipped with a team-wide CR boost with a base speed of 114. Judith is equipped with a team-wide CR boost with a base speed of 117.

– ML Lidica can AOE dispell 1 buff with a base speed of 114. ML Baal, Violin-Dizzy can dispel 1 buff with a base speed of 115. Basar has a base speed of 108 and Hurado base speed of 111. Both can AOE dispell all buffs.

– ML Lidica is able to completely inflict max CDR preventing them from using skills with a base speed of 114. ML Cidd is able to silence 1 character with a base speed of 128. Assassin Coli is able to stun 1 character wit ha base speed of 126.

– ML Lidica is essentially a jack-of-all-trades type of character. Her amount of coverage allows her to be extremely versatile, making her a hero of convenience. Her kit grants her a lot of coverage that are sought after for openers. One would not fall behind if they pass on her banner. If you do manage to pull her, she wont be a bad investment either.

Pros:

– 2nd fastest CR booster in the game with a base speed of 114 (tied with Roozid)

– She can AOE and CR boost at the same time (great with CDom)

– S2 grants 20% CR to all allies and 100% CR to herself in arena

– S2 remove 1 buff from all enemies

– S3 increases a single enemy’s CD to the max

– Auto AI will always S2 before S3

– Jack-of-all-trades type character

Cons:

– S2 will remove ML Cecelia’s barrier before removing enemy’s immunity buff.

– S3 can be resisted by immunity buff/high effectiveness

– Requires very high speed/effectiveness investment

– Can be baited by dark characters on defense/auto

– Can be shut down by an agile Assassin Cidd or Assassin Coli

Epic Seven Blood Blade Karin Build Guide

Introduction

Blood Blade Karin is one of the most popular characters in Epic Seven’s current meta due to her Highly offensive capacities. She doesn’t possess elemental disadvantage at all, although she is a character that needs significant investment and has no utility. Hugely recommended both for PvE and PvP.

First, a quick check on this character’s pros and cons:

Grows up in power as long as the battle continues

Excellent carry capacity with her extra-turn skill gained after slaying an enemy

High capacity to farm bosses in PvE

Lacks utility, not a support type character

Skills

Skill 1: Sequential cutter

BBK’s normal attack. Quickly strikes the enemy with a sword, recovering health proportional to damage dealt. It has no debuff, but she can heal herself and push up her CR by 50% when she killed an enemy—adding that to her passive, which grants her ATK, DEF, and SPD when her HP drops make her one fo the best offensive characters.

Skill 2: Curse Sword

A passive skill that grants BBK power when her HP drops powering up ATK, DEF, and SPD giving her high survivability. At max, with each 1%, HP missing BBK will get 1% bonuses in ATK, DEF, and SPD. Lower the HP, stronger she gets.

Skill 3: Blade Art: Dragon

An AoE skill that costs lives in a change of enormous damage increased by the Soulburn Effect and with the ability to be rewarded with a second cast when the caster kills an enemy. Combined with Skill 2, the 20% HP cost of Blade Art wins significant synergy multiplying the damage insanely and making BBK one of the most dangerous characters in the game.

PvE summary

Even if Karin is a character mainly oriented to PvP, she can become an excellent unit for Hunt Bosses. Thanks to her Skill 1, that allows BBK to quickly clear first waves, which makes her the right choice for one-shot boss teams. With proper gear, she has the potential to be one of the best Fodder Farmers.

PvP summary

As said before, she is one of the best PvP characters in the current Meta thanks to her fully offensive-oriented Skills Set, lacking elemental disadvantage and insane damage potential. Truly a character who Destroys in PvP.

Her passive combined with her two remaining skills grants an almost unkillable warrior when she is at her best, gaining bonuses in ATK, DEF, and SPD when she’s in battle and healing herself out of combat.

Of course, this capacity comes when she is maxed out and with a good build oriented to maximize her pros such as DPS or even a tanky one.

Build Guide

There are two ways to build BBK gear. Offensive or Defensive. The build you should choose mostly depends on the team paired to BBK and, of course, being the offensive gear the most recommended.

Offensive

Dues to Karin’s natural High-Speed Attack (111), which increases with her S2, you have to focus on a damage based build because she doesn’t speed at all. ATK/Crit or Destruction/Crit builds are the best choices. She needs high %ATK and %C.Dmg, including 100%C—rate to avoid any miss. Building Blood Blade Karin is a careful balancing act between making her just tanky enough to survive and then pouring the rest of her build into damage. A common mistake is building her with lifesteal. While this may seem necessary early on, after Molagora investment, Blood Blade Karin should have all the lifesteal she needs from her S1. It’s much more efficient to build her for damage.

That being said, how exactly should you “build her for damage”? She’s naturally pretty quick and her Spd is increased by her passive, so she doesn’t need a Speed set. Attack is tempting, because it can be boosted to insane levels by her passive, but the issue is that her passive isn’t going to be firing at all cylinders for every turn of a battle. A more reliable choice is Destruction. Pair Destruction and Critical sets with her passive and watch those big orange numbers come rolling in.

For helping her stay alive, it’s nice to get some Defense on her substats. Blood Blade Karin has pretty high HP by default but very low Defense, and her S3 will shave off 20% of her max HP every time it’s used. This isn’t as necessary as increasing her damage, but it’s important to remember if your Blood Blade keeps being nuked in PvP.
